以前看見了關(guān)于among 和between用法的文章都是直接跳過，以為是個(gè)小兒科的知識點(diǎn)，直到有一次遇見了between描述三者以上之間的關(guān)系時(shí)才引起重視，仔細(xì)研究后將心得分享給廣大讀者：
1. between 介詞和副詞，prep.之間;(空間上或時(shí)間上)在…中間;(數(shù)量、重量、距離等)介于…之間;分隔著;從（一地）到（另一地）;合用
adv.(空間或時(shí)間上)介于…之間
一般情況下用于兩者之間；但是，也可以用于表示三者或三者以上的（時(shí)間、空間、數(shù)量、重量、距離、年齡等）之間，此時(shí)表示被修飾的人或物的左右邊各一個(gè)某物或人：或表示多者的兩兩之間，在（兩個(gè)人、群體或事物）之間；between后接的對象一般都是具體的、整齊的、并具有個(gè)體分離性。
常用句型是between……(A,B,或C,D)and+最后一個(gè)：
I sat down between Jo and Diana.
我在喬和黛安娜中間坐下。
My job is somewhere between a secretary and a personal assistant.
我的工作介于秘書和私人助理之間。
Switzerland lies between France, Germany, Austria and Italy.
瑞士位于法國、德國、奧地利和意大利之間。
Bolivia lies between Chile, Peru, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

2.among 只作介詞，
在…之間;在…中;周圍是;在(其)中;…之一;在三者或以上中(分配或選擇)
一般時(shí)三者和三者以上的之間；含義是各個(gè)個(gè)體之間是雜亂的、不確定的、整體的一群、一團(tuán)、一些人或物；各個(gè)體之間一般是非分離的關(guān)系或表示是其中之一。
They strolled among the crowds.
他們在人群中信步而行。
News of the losses caused panic among investors.
虧損的消息令投資者人心惶惶。
The performance produced much mirth among the audience.
這場演出使觀眾笑聲不斷。
He lives among the workers.
他生活在工人中間。
She disappeared among the crowd.
